Ice cream manufacturers are cheapening their product to the point that it is not legally ice cream anymore. Even worse: the brand used as an example is Breyers, which used to be a national brand that could be trusted to produce real ice cream with real ingredients. So if the ice cream is a lie and the cake is a lie, put the two negatives together and you will have a positively wrecked your diet.

A big news story from last night is the two Muslim extremists beheading a charity collector for a veterans' organization in the middle of London while passersby did nothing. In Slashdot's article on the subject, the dominant comments (with one early exception) are those that take offense that anyone could consider the killing a terrorist act (without bothering to quibble over the definition of terrorism, only denying it exists) and those that justify the killing as something the UK deserves. WTF is wrong with these people?

Edit May 24: Related, from The Propagandist: Living in the House of War with morons. Meanwhile on Slashdot, the moderators have trollrated everybody who raised the definition of terrorism to apply it to this case and/or argued against the (all unsupported) claims that the UK is just as evil.
