BREAKING: NOTHING HAPPENED!!!

The only news in MSM and much of online is that the Supreme Court is hearing arguments on Prop 8 and DOMA. It is my understanding that after arguments are heard, the Court will wait several weeks or months to issue a decision. So nothing is going to happen for a while.

The news is only that arguments were heard, and this merits discussion of this fact, what the arguments were on both sides, and how the members of the Court appeared to react to these arguments. It does not merit wall-to-wall coverage to the exclusion of everything else that is happening in the world, for example: the US gave half a billion dollars to the PLO, the Central African Republic fell to a rebel force, Boko Haram is now on Cameroon's border, the EU is taxing Cypriot bank accounts at a convenient time after EU investors left and Russian investors came in, and Venezuela was caught giving diplomatic status to a high-ranking Iranian/Hezbollah official. There is no dearth of real news happening in the world.
