This is following the predicted models... we should loose 50% of the coral by the end next year, and it'll be gone completely within 3 years.
Erosion will destroy the actual physical structure of the reef with five years, and roughly 30% of the coast line two years after that.
So, ten years from now, Australia is going to be a different place, at least on the coast, and if it goes unchecked, we could just possibly see the start of the return of the Australian inland sea, as there's a large part of the continental interior that's actually below sea level, and only dried out because the barrier reef encouraged silting which blocked the narrow straight that connected it to the ocean.
